This is a special program for kids attending one of our partner schools who are interested in music, but have not yet decided which instrument they would like to take up or would like to explore their sound in greater depth. During “Choose Your Instrument” sessions, some of the orchestra’s musicians introduce schoolchildren to their own instruments with a short concert, after which the kids can have a go on them. The happy cries, the ringing laughter, the trombones blown at full force, the squeaking violins and the mercilessly-beaten cymbals all echo the programme’s success.
