BFO Fundraising Ball

One of the most anticipated moments of the concert season is the Ball of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, where guests can spend a glamorous evening full of music, dance and uplifting experiences with the orchestra's friends and supporters. Save the date of our next Ball which will take place on February 3, 2024 in Budapest at the Ballroom of Corinthia Budapest.

Our special guest for the evening is the celebrated pianist Kirill Gerstein. A cherished friend and collaborator of Iván Fischer (see them in conversation here), Gerstein is widely recognized as a classical pianist. At the BFO Ball, however, he will unveil an unexpected facet of his artistry, showcasing his prowess as a fantastic jazz pianist. Joining the BFO Big Band, he will perform a renowned piece celebrating its 100th anniversary, along with a sparkly selection from the golden age of jazz.

• Conductor’s Table: 160,000 HUF (approx. €440) donation per guest
• VIP table for ten: 1,200,000 HUF (approx. €3,300) donation
• Musicians’ Table: from 80,000 HUF (approx. €220) donation per guest
• VIP tickets: 120,000 HUF (approx. €330) donation per guest

Early Bird benefit: guests confirming their attendance by November 15, 2023 will be invited to take part in two exclusive dance classes, organized before the Ball in January.

Participation in the BFO Ball is possible by purchasing a ticket for the dinner and paying an additional donation of at least HUF 40,000 / €110 per person (HUF 80,000 / €220 per person for VIP tickets).
