Rita Sovány

Rita Sovány’s talent was clear to see when she was still only a child; she won two national cello competitions, one at the age of 11 and one at 16. She later furthered her studies in Budapest, at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music under Miklós Perényi. After graduating, she became a member of the Budapest Festival Orchestra and is now a regular face in the Orchestra’s chamber music series.
