László Adrián Nagy

László Adrián Nagy was born in Budapest in 1968. He studied piano at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music before graduating from the Faculty of Theology at the Péter Pázmány Catholic University. He received his degree in organ performance in 1997. He has taught at several colleges and is répétiteur to both the Honvéd Male Choir and the choir of the Hungarian State Opera. He regularly performs both as a soloist and accompanist, as well as with jazz ensembles. In 1999 he won the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage’s special prize at the International Liszt Organ Competition in Budapest. His first solo organ CD was released by Hungaroton in 2003, and since then he has contributed to several other recordings. Nagy regularly performs as a guest musician with the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
