Anna Lucia Richter

soprano

Anna Lucia Richter comes from a great family of musicians. She was trained by Prof. Kurt Widmer in Basel and completed her vocal studies with Prof. Klesie Kelly-Moog at the Cologne Academy of Music. She received further inspiration from Christoph Prégardien, Edith Wiens and Margreet Honig. In the spring of 2020, the artist initiated a change of discipline to mezzo-soprano in close consultation with vocal expert Prof. Tamar Rachum, who continues to coach her.

The multiple award-winning soloist Anna Lucia Richter has frequently worked with Teodor Currentzis and MusicAeterna, including in the summer of 2021 at the Salzburg Festival in 'Don Giovanni', with the London Symphony Orchestra and Bernard Haitink, Giardino Armonico and Giovanni Antonini, the Orchestre de Paris under Thomas Hengelbrock, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra under Iván Fischer. She has made guest appearances at major festivals such as the Lucerne Festival, the BBC Proms in London, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival or as 'Artist in Residence' at the Rheingau Music Festival 2018.
