It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved colleague and friend, Ágnes Csoma, violist of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. She passed away on 11 June 2026 after a long illness, which she faced with great dignity.
Ági was a defining member of our orchestra. She performed with us for more than thirty years, always with dedication, attentiveness, and extraordinary sensitivity. Her passing is a tremendous loss to our community. Her memory, her gentle and kind spirit, and her music will remain in our hearts forever. Our thoughts are with Ági’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
