There is a classical music radio channel in the UK which introduces the world's most famous orchestras every evening.
The Budapest Festival Orchestra and Iván Fischer will be the main feature on the evening show of the UK's Classic FM on 20 February. Entitled "Great Orchestras of the World" and from the many outstanding recordings of the BFO, the show will broadcast Beethoven's Piano Concerto in C minor with soloist Richard Goode. This will be followed by Dvorák's Miniatures performed by the Festival Orchestra and conducted by Iván Fischer, while Schubert's Symphony No. 9 ('Great') will round off the 20 February edition of this series presenting the world's best orchestras.
