According to the editorial staff at Forbes magazine, alongside various experts, Sziget is the hottest Hungarian brand, followed by Prezi and BP Clothing/BDPST. The Budapest Festival Orchestra also made it into the top 10.

The October issue of Forbes features a list of the top Hungarian brands. Origo provided a sneak preview of the list, compiled by the editorial staff at Forbes and other experts.

Sziget came first, on the grounds of its decade-long history and ability to reinvent itself regularly. In 2014 the brand made HUF 351 million profit.

Prezi, not too widely used in Hungary but considered the vanguard of Hungarian start-ups on an international stage, came second.

Third was BP Clothing/BDPST: the clothing brand that capitalises on a resurgent Budapest identity.

The IT company Ustream was fourth.

Cserpes Sajtműhely (Cserpes Cheese Factory) finished fifth.

As sixth we have the regional budget airline Wizz Air.

Seventh is Müpa Budapest.

Eighth place goes to the Budapest Festival Orchestra, who fill concert houses both at home and abroad.
