Season Opening Gala
About the program
„A good conductor is guarding unity and liberating energies in people.” This key sentence by Ivan Fischer is one of the secrets behind the success of the Budapest Festival Orchestra which was ranked the best orchestra by New York Times recently. BFO functions like a big family to which it is worth belonging to. The Season Opening Gala of the Festival Orchestra is a great opportunity to meet the members of this unique family, enjoy the special atmosphere around Ivan Fischer and the musicians and give financial help to the mission in which they believe. This time the orchestra would like to raise money for its special program for children living with autism.
We are inviting you for an evening which is much more than a night in a concert hall. Join us to have inspiring conversations while listening to wonderful live music played by the orchestra members. Let’s meet in a friendly occasion with exceptional food and wine.
If you support the BFO Season Opening Gala it directly impacts the orchestra’s ability to continue creating new community and educational programs – with a special focus on autistic children – and fulfill its mission to provide innovative experiences for all ages.
Now is the time to mark your calendar for this memorable celebration!
We are looking forward to meeting you.
