Vincent Lesage

Vincent Lesage has been noticed over the past years as one of the finer tenors of his generation. His repertoire is caracterized by a flexibility that spans from Seicento to contemporary music. There is a central focus on the oratorio of baroque, classic and early romantic periods and the tenore leggiero parts in the operas of the same era.

As an ensemble singer and he has performed with groups like Choeur de Chambre de Namur, , Collegium Vocale Gent. He is asked as a soloist by oratorio societies in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Norway.

Vincent Lesage participated in ‘young audience’ productions at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège ,. in december 2010 he was part of the cast for L’enfant et les Sortilèges (Petit Vieillard and Rainette) by Ravel at the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège. In november 2011 he celebrated his debut at the Nationale Reisopera in the Netherlands in Rameau’s Platée (Thespis and Mercure).

Vincent Lesage coaches on vocal technique and interpretation and is the conductor of the Brussels Bachkoor. He was a laureate of the 2009 Nederlandse Vocalisten Presentatie, a presentation of young oratorio singers in Oosterbeek (NL).
